Chongqing Rongchang Cargo Airport is a proposed cargo facility to serve the city of Chongqing, China. It is a plan conceived by Hainan Airlines Logistics and Chongqing Rongchang district, to construct a new dedicated category 4E cargo airport designed featuring two 3800m x 45m runway, targeting 1.8 million tonnes cargo by 2030.

Jul-2019. Chongqing Rongchang Cargo Airport project location selection report passed expert pre-assessment from China Civil Aviation Engineering Consulting Company. The project set short term construction completion year at 2030, and long term at 2050. The airport is designed as category 4E airport with two 3800m x 45m runway, targeting 1.8 million tonnes cargo by 2030.

Jan-2018. Hainan Airlines Logistics and Chongqing Rongchang district plan to construct a first cargo airport.
