Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport is the major international airport in Namibia. The airport is 40km east of the capital city Windhoek and is among the busiest in the country. All services at Hosea Kutako International are international, with all domestic and some short-haul services concentrated at the smaller and more central Windhoek Eros Airport. National carrier Air Namibia has its hub at Hosea Kutako International. The airport is owned and operated by Namibia Airports Company.
