Air Namibia was the national airline of Namibia. In addition to domestic services, the carrier also operated regional and international passenger and freight services to destinations in Africa and Europe. The carrier's international hub was at Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport with a domestic services hub at the smaller Windhoek Eros Airport. Air Namibia was wholly-owned by the Namibian government.
Air Namibia announced the cancellation of all operations, effective 11-Feb-2021. Air Namibia was placed in provisional liquidation by the Windhoek High Court on 26-Feb-2021, following an application for liquidation made by Namibia Airports Company. Namibia's Windhoek High Court confirmed a provisional order for the liquidation of Air Namibia on 26-Mar-2021.
