About
Sde-Dov Airport is located in Tel Aviv, Israel and previously handled scheduled domestic services to Eilat, Haifa, Galilee and the Golan Heights. The airport was named by Dov Hoz, a pioneer of Jewish aviation. Operated by Israel Airports Authority, the airport has a single asphalt runway. The government signed an agreement for Tel Aviv Sde Dov Airport to be replaced by a 16,000 house development, following previous plans for the airport to close to commercial operation. Sde Dov Airport ceased commercial air traffic on 01-Jul-2019.
