Taranto-Grottaglie (Marcello Arlotta) Airport is an airport serving the municipalities of Taranto and Grottaglie, in the province of Taranto, Italy. The airport is located 1.5 km from the city of Monteiasi. The airport is used for general aviation, with no commercial airline service. Boeing currently uses the airport as a collection point for the fuselage components of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which are constructed by Alenia Aeronautica. Boeing flies the components back to its US factories at Paine Field and Boeing South Carolina- Charleston International Airport for final assembly. Taranto-Grottaglie is operated by Aeroporti di Puglia SpA.
