Punta Cana International Airport is the busiest and fastest growing airport in the Dominican Republic and the third busiest airport in the Caribbean. The airport is a hub for tourist traffic to the eastern-most portion of the country and is served by a wide range of North American and European full service, LCC and charter carriers. All major North American legacy carriers and LCCs serve the airport, while Avianca, Copa Airlines, Gol and LATAM serve Latin American destinations. Aeroflot, airberlin, British Airways and Air France provide European services, as well as a large number of charter carriers.
