Gia Lam Airport is a military airfield serving the city of Hanoi, in the district of Gia Lam, Vietnam. The airport is primarily utilised for military air services by the Vietnam People's Air Force. Gia Lam Airport is subject to a proposed redevelopment by the Vietnamese government, which seeks to reconfigure the facility as a civil/military airport. It was inaugurated in 1936.
