Buenos Aires Aeroparque Jorge Newbery Airport
Aeroparque Jorge Newbery is the third airport serving the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires and serves as the main domestic gateway in the country. The airport handles one-third of Argentine air traffic, and is located near downtown Buenos Aires on the Rio Plata, 40km north of the main international gateway, Buenos Aires Ezeiza International Airport. The airport is a hub for Aerolineas Argentinas, Aerolineas' sister carrier Austral and LAN Argentina. Despite its strong domestic focus, international services to neighbouring countries are also offered by carriers such as Uruguay's BQB Lineas Aereas and Brazil's Gol. The airport is operated by Aeropuertos Argentinas 2000.
