Beijing Daxing International Airport
Beijing Daxing International Airport is a new airport serving the capital city, Beijing. Construction of the CNY80 billion (USD13.1 billion) airport commenced in Dec-2014, with main phase one developments completed on 30-Jun-2019. The new complex is designed to have a carrying capacity of 45 million passengers p/a, with plans to continue expanding the facility to 72 million passengers by 2025, then 100 million passengers under a phased development plan. Beijing Daxing International Airport commenced commercial operations on 25-Sep-2019.
