Aransas County Airport was established in 1943 in partnership with the Civil Aeronautics Administration (now FAA) and Aransas County. The airport features two lighted runways (the longest measures 5,600 ft. long and 100 ft. wide) and two lighted taxiways. The Aransas County Airport is in the midst of a multi-year Capital Improvement Program with the Texas Department of Transportation, Aviation Division.
