Ukraine National Airlines is the proposed new national carrier of Ukraine. Ukraine's Government intends to launch the country's new national carrier in 2022, in cooperation with Airbus and consultancy Aérogestion. The airline plans to serve two domestic and 14 international destinations. Long haul services may commence in 2023 with one destination, increasing to five destinations by 2026. Operations may expand to 37 total destinations, including eight domestic, between 2023 and 2026. Ukraine's Government will purchase or lease 22 Airbus aircraft for the carrier, comprising six A220s, 12 A320s or A321s and four A330s or A350s. The airline may also operate turboprops. The carrier is expected to require funding of EUR96 million for the first year of operations and EUR50 million to EUR60 million in the second year. Ukraine's Ministry of Infrastructure plans to allocate UAH500 million (EUR16.48 million) for the airline in 2021 and UAH2.5 billion (EUR82.41 million) in 2022.
