Ukraine is located in central eastern Europe and is the second-largest contiguous country in Europe, after Russia. Its major international airports are Boryspil International Airport, Lviv Danylo Halytskyi International Airport and Donetsk International Airport. The Ukraine has a number of airlines, the largest of which are the country’s flag carriers, Aerosvit Airlines and Ukraine International Airlines.  Other international airlines operating in the country include UTair, Ural Airlines, Aeroflot, British Airways, Air France and Alitalia. The State Aviation Administration of Ukraine is the regulatory body responsible for civil aviation in the country.
