About

SiamJet Airlines was a proposed Thai start-up LCC that planned to offer domestic and regional services from its primary hub at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport and secondary hub at Bangkok Don Mueang to Chiang Rai, Phuket and destinations in China. Once its initial route network had been established, SiamJet intended to provide services to Macau and Singapore.

In Jul-2014, President and CEO Passavorn Chandrangsu said the airline plans to initially operate domestic and regional charter services with ATR 72 aircraft based at Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport.

In Mar-2015, SiamJet Airlines announced plans to launch Bangkok-Guangzhou service in Apr-2015. A revised launch date has not been advised. It is assumed the carrier has abandoned plans to launch operations.
