Premier Airways (Easy Air) was an Indian low-cost start-up to be based at Bangalore Kempegowda International Airport. Premier Airways planned to provide domestic services throughout India. The country's Directorate General of Civil Aviation awarded the carrier with its No Objection Certificate (NOC) in Jul-2014. The start-up agreed to purchase 40 A320neos from Airbus but has yet to receive get Reserve Bank of India approval to import the aircraft. The carrier initially planned to operate services in 2015 but the NOC expired before the airline launched. It is assumed that the carrier has abandoned plans to launch operations.
