About
Midwest Express Airlines is the proposed relaunch of the Republic Airways Holdings brand, which merged with Frontier Airlines in Nov-2010. The carrier will be based at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, and planned to launch by the end of 2019. Midwest Express signed an agreement with Elite Airways to commence services from Milwaukee. However, Midwest Express terminated the contract with Elite Airways in Mar-2020, citing "Elite breached its agreement". Midwest Express plans to acquire its own airline operating certificate and aircraft. A date has not yet been set for the start of service.
