Latin American Wings
About
Latin American Wings was a Chilean carrier based at Santiago International Airport. The carrier operated charter and scheduled services from Santiago using Boeing 737 aircraft. It's inaugural service to Punta Cana, operated by Chilejet, commenced on 27-Jan-2016. Latin American Wings received an air operator's certificate (AOC) from Chile's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) in 2017, having operated with Chilejet's AOC since its launch. In Mar-2018, Latin American Wings announced a "temporary suspension of all operations" with plans to undergo a restructuring effort and resume operations under a new business model. Latin American Wings did not receive approval for its new route structure, and suspended all services effective 12-Mar-2018.
