Kuva Air is the first blockchain powered airline based in Zimbabwe. The carrier made a demonstration flight from Harare to Bulawayo on 22-Apr-2022. The flight was operated by Executive Air with an Embraer EMB120 aircraft (ZS-AAF).
Kuva Air commenced commercial operations with three times weekly Harare-Kariba-Victoria Falls service on 25-May-2022.
In Oct-2022, Kuva Air announced it is "temporarily pausing flights while we work to make travel more affordable and online booking easier". The airline plans to implement a new booking system, according to its website. The carrier planned to resume operations in Apr-2023. No additional updates have been provided, it is assumed the airline has ceased operations.
