JetSMART is an ultra low-cost carrier based in Santiago de Chile. The carrier is funded by Indigo Partners, a global private equity firm that participated in the development of other LCC ventures such as Frontier Airlines, Tigerair, Volaris and Wizz Air. JetSMART launched service operations on 25-Jul-2017, offering flights from Santiago to Calama, Antofagasta, Copiapó, La Serena, Concepción, Puerto Montt and Temuco.
