Hong Kong Air Cargo is a proposed cargo carrier to be based at Hong Kong International Airport. The start-up plans to deploy Boeing 747F or 777F aircraft on services to Asia, Europe and America over the next five years. It is the first carrier granted a Hong Kong Air Operator’s Certificate from the Civil Aviation Department and Licence from the Air Transport Licensing Authority in 12 years. Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings delivered three Boeing 747-400F aircraft to Hong Kong Air Cargo under an ACMI agreement. The aircraft will be operated by Atlas Air and the first will enter service in Sep-2017 on routes between Asia and the US.
