Gabon flyafrica.com
About
Gabon flyafrica.com was a Pan-African low cost carrier, founded through a strategic partnership between the Government of Gabon and Ivor Ichikowitz. The start-up carrier planned to operate under flyafrica.com, as part of the brand's staged roll-out. However, flyafrica.com was forced to ground all services in Oct-2015, after the CAAZ revoked its AOC. In Jan-2016, the airline had its suspension lifted by the CAAZ, after the airline complied with all regulatory requirements. Current AOC Holder, Nu Aero, stated flyafrica.com will terminate its franchise agreement with FlyAfrica Limited and rebrand as Nu Aero after securing a new individual investor. Gabon flyafrica.com is considered a failed start-up due to these events.
