flymojo is a new Malaysian start-up that plans to commence operations in 2016 from its primary hub at Johor Bahru Senai International Airport. The carrier also plans to maintain a secondary hub at Sabah's Kota Kinabalu Airport. From these two bases, flymojo intends to operate a route network between the Malay Peninsula, Sabah and Sarawak as well as provide ASEAN-focussed regional services. On 17-Mar-2015, the privately-owned carrier signed an LoI for the purchase of 20 Bombardier CS100 aircraft plus options for 20 more. Based on the list prices, the firm order is valued at approximately USD1.47 billion, with a total price of USD2.94 billion, should all options be exercised. The order makes flymojo the first customer for the 149-seat CS100 in the Asia Pacific, though the carrier will reportedly configure its aircraft in a two-class configuration with 108 seats. flymojo currently has approximately MYR50 million (USD13.7 million) in available cash. It was expected to commence operations in 1Q2016. A revised launch date is not known.
