Eurowings Europe

Low Cost Carrier
In service

Eurowings Europe is an LCC established by Deutsche Lufthansa AG that is based at Vienna International Airport. In 2015, Lufthansa Group revised the name of the proposed carrier from EWAT GmbH to Eurowings Europe GmbH, stating the new carrier will support plans to expand it's LCC operations. Eurowings Europe operates a regional European network out of its Vienna hub, utilising a fleet of seven A320 aircraft. During 2017, it plans to add an aircraft per month which should bring its fleet to an overall total of nineteen come Jan-2018. Deutsche Lufthansa AG launched Eurowings Europe service operations on 23-Jun-2016, with a Vienna-Alicante service. Eurowings Europe will gradually take over some Vienna services from Eurowings. The carrier is part of the Eurowings Group, an LCC brand within Deutsche Lufthansa AG.
