About
Congo Express was a regional carrier based in Lubumbashi, DRC, The carrier was founded in 2010 and operated domestic services between Kinshasa and Lubumbashi. Congo Express was a joint venture between BizAfrika Conga and South African Express. However, poor market conditions and lower than anticipated capital support by BizAfrika resulted in SA Express' decision to terminate the JV. The Congolese Government also revoked Congo Express' AOC for failing to meet ICAO standards.
