Azura Airways, registered as Azura Airways Corporation, is a proposed private charter carrier headquartered in Darien, CT. Former jetBlue CEO David Neeleman, and former airline executives James Smith (American Airlines) and Amir Nasruddin (Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras) are involved in the new venture. An operational plan has not been specified, however Azura Airways planned to launch services in Oct-2017 with two aircraft. A revised launch date has not been specified.
