About

American West Jets was a proposed start-up that initially planned to launch services in May-2014. The start-up was backed by American West Aircraft, a diversified aviation company, based in Nevada. American West Jets is seeking to relaunch the operations of defunct Ryan International Airlines. The carrier aimed to serve destinations in the southwestern United States as well as in Central America. Following this, the carrier planned on rolling-out services to West Africa and the South Pacific. No further updates have been provided, it is assumed plans to launch have been abandoned.
