Flugfelag Islands ehf, trading as Air Iceland Connect, is a regional airline based at Reykjavik Airport and Akureyri Airport in Iceland. The airline is wholly-owned by the Icelandair Group, and is the largest operator at Reykjavík's downtown airport and the country's largest domestic airline. Icelandair integrated Air Iceland Connect into the operations of Icelandair from 31-Mar-2020. The air operators certificate of Air Iceland Connect will remain separate and its crew members will remain employed by the company. Air Iceland Connect's fleet comprises Bombardier Dash 8 and Fokker 50 aircraft.
On 09-Mar-2021, Icelandair announced Air Iceland Connect will merge into Icelandair effective 16-Mar-2021, with both networks to operate under the same brand.
