Air Costa

Ceased Operations on 28-Feb-2017

Air Costa operated a fleet of two-class Embraer E170 and E190 aircraft on regional services throughout southern India. Established by LEPL group, the carrier will invest around USD500 million in its expansion over the next 15 years. Air Costa planned to have a dedicated engineering complex at Vijayawada/Gannavaram Airport for MRO functions.

Air Costa suspended air service operations from 28-Feb-2017, amid financial issues with lessors. The carrier is expected to recommence commercial operations once it has secured funding.
