Established in Jan-1994, Maldives Airport Company Limited (MACL) is a stated-owned airport operator and air navigation services provider (ANSP) for the Republic of Maldives. The government-owned entity operates Malé Velana International Airport as well as the flight information region surrounding the Maldives. Maldives Airports also has a share in Gan International Airport Pvt Ltd, a JV between MACL, State Trading Organisations and Gan Airport Company Limited. Gan International Airport Pvt Ltd has been established to develop, manage and operate Gan International Airport.
