Virgin Blue reviewing branding, AirAsia X discounts premium seats
Virgin Blue’s share price rose 1.6% on Friday. The Australian Financial Review reports today that four agencies, SapientNitro, Clemenger Group, BMF and DDB, are still in the running to win Virgin Blue’s AUD50 million (USD44.8 million) advertising account, as part of a wider review of the airline’s future branding. The review, to be launched next month, could result in the airline’s four brands - V Australia, Virgin Blue, Polynesian Blue and Pacific Blue - being rationalised, according to the report.
