THAI Adjusts Fuel Surcharge

Bankgok (THAI AIRWYS) - Thai Airways International Public Company Limited announced that the airline will increase its fuel surcharge on the international flight sectors routed Bangkok – Singapore v.v. and Bangkok – Malaysia v.v. (Kuala Lumpur and Penang) as of 1 September 2006 onwards, due to the continually increasing fuel costs worldwide. The increase in fuel surcharge on these routes will aid in covering part of the fuel costs incurred last month, as also implemented by airlines across the globe.
