MAp’s smallest airport has the biggest prospects?

Macquarie Airports (MAp) has released its financial and traffic highlights for 2008 together with comments on initial trends for 2009. All the invested airports had positive traffic, revenue and EBITDA results even if all fell away badly in the last months of 2008. So far in 2009, passenger traffic is down badly at the European airports but not so badly in Sydney where a third A380 operator (Emirates) has commenced service. But it is the group’s smallest airport, Bristol (UK) that appears to have some of the best prospects.
