Infratil's airports sluggish - seeking Auckland boost

Infratil, a diversified infrastructure investor, reported a

spectacular 151% rise in Group revenue and 494% increase in net profit for the

three months ended 30-Jun-07. However, its airport operations at Wellington,

Glasgow Prestwick, Lubeck and Kent did not play an important contribution to

the results. Wellington Airport reported a 4.9% rise in EBITDA, while Infratil

Airports Europe (IAE) cut EBITDA losses to NZD171,000. Passenger traffic in

the period rose 0.8% at Wellington and fell 3.9% at IAE.
