Australian Infrastructure Fund's airports have a banner year

Australian Infrastructure Fund (AIX) has reported a 135% increase in net profit at its investment airports for the six months ended 31-Dec-07, while revenue rose 127%. AIX reports strong growth across the airport portfolio, supported by 'buoyant economic conditions' and the introduction of LCCs such as Tiger Airways and AirAsia X. Perth recorded the highest passenger growth at 13.3%.
