RAK Airways to launch new Congo airline

Ras Al Khaimah Government's investment arm, Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority (Rakia), has invested approximately USD160 million to launch a new national airline in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Rakia will hold a 60% stake in the JV with the Congolese state, with RAK Airways to manage the investment on behalf of Rakia.
