Jazeera Airways to launch Kuwait-Sohaj service; Lonrho shares down 2.8%

Jazeera Airways (-3.6%) announced (23-Nov-2010 plans to launch Kuwait-Sohaj service on 01-Dec-2010. It will be the carrier's fifth route to Egypt after Sharm El Sheikh, Alexandria, Luxor and Assiut.
African and Middle East shares were mostly on the downturn on Tuesday (23-Nov-2010) with Lonrho (-2.8%), Kuwait National Airways (-1.3%), Air Mauritius (-1.2%), 1time (-1.1%) and Air Arabia (-0.5%) down while Royal Jordanian (+0.6%) and Kenya Airways (+1.1%) shares gained slightly.
