American, United, Delta, Continental looking ugly. Allegiant more attractive. Air Canada lives.
Analysis
American Airlines (-10.9%), United (-10.4%), Delta (-10.9%) and Continental (-9.4%) shares led the way down yesterday for airline stocks on Wall Street, with US Airways (-8.6%), JetBlue (-7.7%) and Alaska Air (-7.3%) close behind.
In South America, TAM (-8,2%) tumbled again after Friday's 5.2% fall and GOL (-5.0%) also lost ground.
