CAPA set to soar in Middle East and Africa in 2019 – vital Summit announced in Dubai, April 2019

Press Release

CAPA - Centre for Aviation, the world's most trusted source of market intelligence for the aviation and travel industry, is set to expand its reach of regional events around the world to the Middle East and Africa. The CAPA Middle East & Africa Aviation Summit, is set to be held on 29-30 April 2019, and will examine commercial and operational issues affecting airlines and airports in both developed and emerging markets.

The Summit will challenge leaders of the Middle East and African aviation industries to reflect on what is needed to drive it forward, using examples of innovation in outside markets as a benchmark to follow.

CAPA Chairman Emeritus Peter Harbison said: "It is important and timely that CAPA bring our brand of informative and educational summits to the Middle East and Africa. Both regions are going through important change and development, and like all our events, we will seek to tap into these changes and address the key issues impacting the regions."

The Summit will begin with regional spotlights determining the issues impacting each location and opportunities to improve growth. Complementing this will be a mix of aviation, macroeconomic, travel and geopolitical topics across a range of keynotes and interactive panel discussions.
