HP Aviation is a subsidiary of Hindustan Petroleum, a state-owned Indian NOC. The company operated as a JV between Caltex and Esso prior to its nationalisation in 1974. The company is a major provider of jet fuel to both Indian and foreign carriers at all major Indian airports.
