Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) is the new civil aviation authority that replaced the country's Department of Civil Aviation. The CAAT assumed control of the department's functions, including airspace oversight, infrastructure development, the promotion and development of Thailand's aviation industry, as well as negotiating air services agreements with international civil aviation organisations, effective 01-Jan-2016.
