About

Batam Hang Nadim Airport serves Batam in the Riau Islands. It is the only international airport in the region and operates scheduled passenger and freight services. The airport is operated by Batam Free Trade Zone Authority (BP Batam), a local government authority.

Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC)'s consortium with PT Angkasa Pura I and Wijaya Karya won a tender to expand, improve and operate Batam Airport under a 25 year contract in Mar-2021. PT Angkasa Pura I signed a management cooperation contract with IIAC and Wijaya Karya on 21-Dec-2021 for the construction, expansion and operation of Batam Hang Nadim Airport over a 25 year period.
