XTRA Airways was a US charter carrier based in Boise, Idaho. The carrier started operations in 1987 operating as Casino Express. XTRA Airways operated from its hubs at Grand Bahama International Airport and San Antonio International Airport utilising narrowbody Boeing equipment. The carrier planned to relaunch as an ultra LCC in 2019, operating to destinations with second-tier airports using a fleet of five aircraft. XTRA Airways was purchased by Andrew Levy in 2018 and rebranded as Avelo Airlines in 2021.
