About

Flyington Freighters was a proposed cargo carrier start-up based in Hyderabad, India. The start-up was scheduled to launch in 2006, but failed to secure a freighter aircraft. Flyington was initially designated as the launch customer of Airbus’ new A330-200F in 2008. However, financing issues affected the carrier's ability to pay for the equipment, and Airbus cancelled the order for 12 A330-200Fs since pre-delivery payments were not delivered. In 2012, Flyington was served with a winding up notice from PVP Capital over non-payment of debts.
