About

Chilean Airways is a Chilean carrier based at Iquique Diego Aracena Airport. The carrier is a rebranded entity that replaced defunct Chilean regional operator, AeroDesierto, which ceased services in Jul-2015. Chilean Airways utilised AeroDesierto's assets to launch a new regional operator in 2016. The Chilean carrier plans to expand operations from Iquique to La Paz, Cochabamba, Santa Cruz, and Uyuni, in addition to Argentina and Paraguay in the short term. Chilean Airways commenced operations on 27-Jun-2016, operating on behalf of One Airlines on Santiago-Calama route. It's fleet consists of Boeing 737 and CV-580 aircraft.
