Air Sahel is a proposed regional airline to serve five countries in the Sahel region of Africa: Burkina Faso, Mauritania, Mali, Niger and Chad. The 'Air Sahel project' is part of the Sahel G5 plan to enhance transportation links between the five countries. The G5 planned to establish the carrier by the end of 2017. A revised launch plan has not been advised, it is assumed that the carrier abandoned plans to launch operations.
