Xiamen Airlines and Boeing sign MoU for 30 737 MAX 200s

Xiamen Airlines and Boeing signed (11-Jul-2016) a MoU for the purchase of up to 30 737 MAX 200 aircraft, valued at up to USD3.39 billion at current list prices. Xiamen Airlines, which is already a 737 MAX customer, sees the MAX 200 as a fit for its LCC subsidiaries, including Jiangxi Air and Hebei Airlines. The agreement still requires the approval of Xiamen Airlines' board and the China Southern Airlines Group board, as well as the Chinese Government. [more - original PR]
