WTO ruling on EU case against Boeing subsidies due this week

Boeing VP for Trade Policy, Ted Austell, stated the WTO is expected to hand down its final ruling on the dispute between the US and EU over subsidies and other support for Boeing (China Post, 31-Jan-2011). The ruling will initially be confidential, but will be made available publicly several months later. Airbus believes the ruling could require up to USD45 billion in compensation to be paid to the European Union.
