Wizz Air launched its Bratislava base in Aug-2025 and planned to station two aircraft there, adding close to one million seats and expanding to 17 routes in 20261. It further announced a significant expansion at Bratislava, including new destinations, with the airport preparing for up to four million passengers in the next year2. Wizz Air also planned to open its Podgorica base in Mar-2026, adding 14 routes and one million seats annually3.
