Wizz Air previously announced the opening of its Bratislava base, with two A321neos to be stationed by the end of 2025 and 12 routes planned, aiming for close to one million seats in 2026 and a network of 17 routes from the airport1. The carrier was selected to operate the Bratislava-Košice route by Slovakia's Transport Ministry, restoring scheduled service after a six-year gap2.
