WestJet reports (04-Aug-2011) the following financial highlights for the three months ended Jun-2011:

  • Revenues: USD758.8 million, +21.4% year-on-year;
  • Costs: USD706.4 million, +18.0%;
    • Fuel: 40.2%;
  • Operating profit: USD52.4 million, +96.1%;
  • Net income: USD26.2 million, +274.7%;
  • Passenger load factor: 78.1%, -1.9 ppts;
  • Yield: USD18.54 cents, +13.4%;
  • RASM: USD14.49 cents, +10.8%;
