Viva confirms cessation of operations

Viva, via its official LinkedIn account, announced (13-May-2023) its intention to permanently exit the market due to operations no longer being economically viable, following Avianca's decision to desist from the proposed merger between the companies. As previously reported by CAPA, Avianca decided to withdraw from the proposed integration after rejecting Colombia Aerocivil's conditions for the merger.
